BlackPASS The whole album is one of the best D&B albums i've come across in years.

It's mellow, energetic, and consistently enjoyable. There is 1 bad track among 12- a rarity in itself. Favorite track: Summer Haze.

amiees It reminds me of being in Auckland when I was 20ish, dancing with my flatmates in our living room. We (my besties and flatmate) would thrash this album every morning before work. It reminds me of great memeories Favorite track: New Day Come.

At once 'Soulstice' strikes the listener with its mature grasp on songwriting & the breadth of their sonic palette, which encompasses their signature d&b sound, blended with a range of complimentary genres. The sound is wider, more inclusive & with a far greater instrumentation than previously, as the band move their sound to another level altogether.

'Soulstice' also features a much greater & more varied vocal contribution from P Digsss, who has developed into a genuine superstar. Further vocal contributions come from some of NZ's top soul vocalists, including Ladi6, KP [Sunshine Soundsystem] & Kye [Budspells]. Other featured artists include Isaac Aesili [Solaa, Opensouls] on trumpet, Warren Maxwell [Fat Freddy's Drop, Little Bushmen] on flute & Dave Wright [Solaa] on keys, while production duties were more than capably handled by Evan Short [Concord Dawn].

After I discovered GUNSHIP with UNICORN, I went through all their material in a rush. They're whole discography is great, and I think this is the greatest. This album haunts me. I can't listen to it once. Even if I turn it off, I still hear it echoing in the back of my mind. GUNSHIP has a mastery of the bridge that reaches the level of mastery in this album that's just unrivaled. If you get only one album from GUNSHIP, get this one. Mailanka
